Get It Together: Hally’s Parsons Green (London Restaurant)

I fell in love with the interior of Hally’s Parsons Green in London that was featured on Remodelista this week! It’s hard to decide which is my favorite element: the shiplap walls, built-ins filled with amazing collectables, modern painted chairs and rustic tables. Don’t you bring elements of this restaurant home for a breakfast nook?

Start with some wood cafe chairs painted in cheerful colors, a reclaimed wood pedestal table, and add some cobalt and cream colored striped and patterned ikat throw pillows to a built in bench.

Top off the table with votives in French jam jars and simple blue linen napkins. Next, on white washed built-ins, display your favorite junking treasures!

Distribute a large collection of bold orange books on various shelves as a pop of contrast in the otherwise beachy room. A worn whisk, a yellow coffee grinder, brass lanternsiron and brass dogs and yellow enamel pots play supporting roles as well.

Add in more touches of blue and green with green canning jars and aqua Ball jars as well as some fishing floats. A blue pitcher can be pulled down from time to time for flowers or fresh OJ, and serve sugar from an antique canister.

Finally, mix in some unique elements with an iron scale, a mini globe and butterfly specimens under glass.
