For a while now, I’ve been intrigued by Lillet – both blanc and rose. When I was visiting my friend Laura in Chicago last month, we stopped in a bar that serves a Daisy containing Lillet Rose. I wanted to try something new, so I decided to mix one up with Lillet Blanc.
White Daisy Cocktail
1 part gin (such as Hendricks)
1 part lemon juice
1/2 part Lillet Blanc
Shake the three ingredients above over ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a thin slice of lemon and a few springs of thyme.
