When we booked our flights to Maryland, we didn’t know that it would be the weekend of the DC Big Flea Market. Just hours before take off, we heard the great news and saw it as a sign that the junking gods were shining on our weekend. The Big Flea had something for every antique lover: housewares, fine china and silver, estate jewelry, collectables, and art. We spent four hours shopping the aisles, gathering inspiration, brainstorming decorating ideas and enjoying refreshments. The display above was one of the highlights of the show, featuring vintage enamelware and kitchen tools surrounding a pair of stunning blue shutters. We can’t wait to share more of our weekend soon!
