Small Town Travel Log: New Hope, PA

Last weekend, we headed out to New Hope, Pennsylvania to explore the local antique scene and help celebrate our friend Katie’s 30th birthday. We rented the cutest little blue house right on the edge of town, and less than half a mile from the Delaware River. The cottage was perfectly decorated – a blend of white walls, exposed beams, and small vintage details displayed throughout the built-ins.
Our first stop was a visit to the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad station to collect some rail miles.
Then we walked over the bridge to The Boat House – a little pub just across the Delaware in Lambertville, New Jersey heavily decorated with shipbuilding tchotchkes and memorabilia. Utterly adorable.
Sunday morning we headed to The Black Bass’ signature champagne brunch.
The next day, we got on the train back to city life. All in all, a lovely little riverside town, with cozy pubs and restaurants and antique shop-lined streets. And just about two hours from New York City!
